On behalf our client, we are looking for a Data Engineer (f/m/x) Full-time to be based in the Fribourg/Geneva areas.

This is a great opportunity to be involved in strategic initiatives for an international company. You will work on solutions to provide best is class data. You will work in close collaboration with Supply Chain and Logistics Teams as well as other teams on a wide-ranging scope of projects.

Missions

Day-to-day follow-up of data management & data quality to support data sources initiated, managed or supervised by MDM team

  • Import, clean, transform, validate, and model data with the purpose to drive business decisions
  • Support the company in designing new ways to solve data management issues
  • Show ability to approach data organization challenges while keeping an eye on business objectives / requests
  • Monitor any automated pipelines


Support the Supply Chain team in building the connections between their reports & the appropriate sources of data - guarantee the quality of data & flows to support business needs

- Set up the connections between Power BI (or other tools in the future) & GCP and guarantee the flow of data - for all reports built by the Supply Chain team
  • Support the implementation of the new model stock tool based on GCP (ATLAS) in line with business objectives
  • Support the cleaning & structuration of data within GCP to support the implementation of the new Supply chain tools (replacing APO)
  • Manage extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using relevant languages (SQL, Python, and any relevant 'big data' technologies)
  • Write and test ETL (extract, transform & load) to make sure the developed data pipelines are reliable and performing according to the business needs


Contribute to our Data projects to support business needs / requests from the Supply Chain & Logistics team

  • Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to identify new needs and anticipate the necessary adjustments / structuration in data management
  • Make appropriate recommendations to support data projects based on her / his data engineering expertise
  • Identify, design, propose and implement internal process improvements to automate manual processes to optimize data delivery for greater scalability


Participate to our data community animation

  • Partner with various departments to deploy new tools and software opportunities for innovation to handle big data
  • Lead or participate in big data projects for the company

Profil du candidat

  • You are a data engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience with solid technical skills in data modelling, data mining (SQL, Python) and with a first experience using GCP.
  • You are self-driven, proactive and have very good collaborative and communication skills.
  • You have a master degree in Data Sciences or computer sciences.
